X1 Slide for Glock 17 Gen 3

The NineX19 X1 Slide is a window-cut, optic-ready slide designed for Glock 17 Gen 3 pistols and compatible full-size builds using the Gen 3 Glock 17 slide pattern. Its precision-machined windows, aggressive rear serrations, and RMR-pattern optic cut create a distinctive aftermarket upper while maintaining durable 17-4 stainless-steel construction.

Each X1 Slide is CNC machined in the USA and available in Black Nitride, FDE Cerakote, or Sig Dark Gray Cerakote. A matching optic cover plate is included for configurations using iron sights instead of a mounted optic.

Window-Cut X1 Design

Precision-machined side and top windows define the X1 design and expose portions of the installed barrel. The open profile pairs especially well with spiral-fluted barrels, contrasting finishes, and other visually distinctive barrel designs.

The windows also reduce reciprocating mass compared with a conventional solid-profile slide. Cycling characteristics depend on the complete upper configuration, including the barrel, recoil-spring assembly, ammunition, optic, and installed components.

RMR-Pattern Optic Cut

The X1 Slide features an RMR-pattern optic cut for compatible red-dot sights. A matching cover plate is included, allowing the slide to be configured with iron sights when an optic is not installed.

Confirm the mounting footprint, screw requirements, and clearance specifications of your selected optic before installation. Optic screws must be the correct type and length for the specific slide and optic combination.

Glock 17 Gen 3 Compatibility

This X1 Slide is designed for Glock 17 Gen 3 pistols and compatible full-size platforms built around the Gen 3 Glock 17 slide pattern. This includes many compatible configurations from Polymer80, Nomad Defense, Lone Wolf, and other manufacturers using the same slide geometry.

Aftermarket frames and components can vary in their dimensions and tolerances. Confirm that your frame, barrel, recoil system, and upper components are compatible with a Glock 17 Gen 3-pattern slide before ordering. Inspection or fitting by a qualified armorer or gunsmith may be appropriate.

This product is not sold as a direct replacement slide for Glock 17 Gen 4 or Gen 5 pistols. Adapting a Gen 3-pattern slide to another frame generation may require different components or frame modifications and falls outside the product’s stated compatibility.

17-4 Stainless-Steel Construction

The X1 Slide is CNC machined from 17-4 stainless steel for strength, dimensional stability, and durability. Deep rear serrations provide a positive contact surface for slide manipulation.

• FDE Cerakote: A Flat Dark Earth ceramic coating for contrasting and earth-tone builds.
• Sig Dark Gray Cerakote: A dark gray ceramic coating that provides an alternative to traditional black finishes.
