NineX19 Revolution Barrel for Glock 17 Gen 5

The NineX19 Revolution Barrel for Glock 17 Gen 5 combines distinctive spiral fluting with an updated barrel hood and deep-cut target crown. It is engineered around the Glock 17 Gen 5 barrel-lug and locking geometry.

Each barrel is CNC machined in the USA from stress-relieved and heat-treated 416R stainless steel. Broach-cut rifling with a 1:10 twist supports commonly used 9mm ammunition weights ranging from 115-grain range ammunition through 147-grain defensive and competition loads.

Does This Barrel Fit the Glock 17 Gen 5?

Yes. This barrel is specifically designed for Glock 17 Gen 5 slides and the Gen 5 barrel-lug configuration.

Glock changed the Glock 17 locking geometry for Gen 5, adopting the shorter Glock 19-pattern barrel lug. A barrel for Glock 17 Gen 1–4 is not the correct replacement for a Gen 5 slide.

Does This Barrel Fit the Glock 47?

The Glock 47 uses Glock 17 Gen 5-length barrel geometry with the Gen 5 Glock 19-pattern lug. This NineX19 barrel can be used with a compatible Glock 47 slide and upper configuration.

Barrel compatibility does not make every complete upper assembly interchangeable without the correct recoil spring assembly and frame configuration.

Does This Barrel Fit the Glock 45?

No. The Glock 45 uses a Glock 19 Gen 5-length slide and barrel. Although the Glock 45 has a full-size grip frame, it requires a Glock 19 Gen 5 barrel rather than a Glock 17-length barrel.

Does This Barrel Fit a Glock 17 Gen 3 or Gen 4?

No. Glock 17 Gen 1–4 barrels use the earlier Glock 17 locking geometry. This barrel is intended for Glock 17 Gen 5 slides and compatible platforms using the later barrel-lug configuration.

Select a NineX19 barrel specifically listed for Glock 17 Gen 1–4 when working with an earlier-generation Glock 17 slide.

Does It Fit Nomad Defense and Other Aftermarket Frames?

This barrel can be used with compatible full-size Gen 5-pattern slides and frame systems designed around Glock 17 Gen 5 barrel geometry. Compatibility depends on the slide, locking block, frame, recoil system, and other components maintaining the appropriate OEM-pattern dimensions.

Confirm the specifications of every aftermarket component before assembly. A product being described as “Glock compatible” does not guarantee that it uses the correct model, generation, or barrel family.

What Is the Difference Between Revolution and Match Barrels?

The primary visual difference is the fluting pattern. The NineX19 Revolution Barrel uses spiral fluting, while the NineX19 Match Barrel uses pentagonal flat fluting.

Both barrel families are machined from 416R stainless steel and use broach-cut rifling with a 1:10 twist. Choose between them based on the compatible barrel configuration, finish, and exterior design you prefer.
